My family has been making this mustard for over 50 years. Our aunt learned the recipe in Iowa as a young lady and taught us how to make the mustard on her farm in Wisconsin. One of her cousins said the recipe took a first place at the 1979 Arizona State Fair! This truly is a "country mustard."

The canning jars we use have been around for eons (just like me!) they are easy to sanitize and I add new rings and domes and WALLA as good as new! So when you are re-ordering your favorite mustard return the jars to me and help save Mother Earth.

JAR ALERT! If you know of anyone that has jars stowed away and not being used let me know. I will contact them and make a deal for the jars. I only use 8-oz and 16-oz, Regular Mouth (not wide). Any brand is ok, the most popular are Kerr, Ball and Mason.
